I have tried to print out the following tasks :

Task 17.

I have managed to print out 1 to 16 but I cannot print out the remaining pages 17 and 18.

Task 24.

I have managed to print out 1 to 11 but I cannot print out the remaining pages 12 - 20.

I have deleted Adobe Reader 7.0 and re-installed it on my computer, however, I still cannot print the pages.

Please advice

Thank you

Strange one this, usually it will either show the complete document, or none at all.

When you view the task in PDF format, are the missing pages visible ?

The pages are visible in PDF format on the screen.

When the pages don't print I get an error on the screen : Adobe Reader 7.0 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost.

Please advise.

Thank you

It seems that this is an acrobat reader problem, rather than being directly related to the disk itself.  I have had a quick look at google and there seems to be lots of reported incidents here
Adobe's official help pages for this error are here
http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=331045&sliceId=1
Before running through that lot, try this:
Open MY COMPUTER
Open your C drive
Then find the application file for adobe reader, mine is located at:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 7.0\Reader
The file is called
AcroRd32.exe
Right click on this then choose PROPERTIES
Choose COMPATIBILITY
Tick the box next to RUN THIS PROGRAM IN COMPATIBILITY MODE FOR
Then choose WINDOWS NT4 Service pack 5
Try again.
If this doesn't work also try the Windows 2000 compatibility mode too.
If again no success, try viewing the Adobe help page I linked to earlier.
You could also try some further answers from google here

Let me know how you get on.

The problem has been resolved.

I have now printed the pages.

Thank you

I solved the problem by uninstalling the Acrobat Reader.

There were entries in the registry.

I clicked start, clicked run ( typed regedit ).

Going to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall.

In the left pane,  I right-clicked on the program and chose delete.

I also used a registry cleaner.

I think the problem might have been the dll.

Thank you

Thanks

That's really handy for future reference.
